Begin Increasing Your Link Popularity Right Now   no comments

by Hayden Linoturn

One of the important factors with getting the most web traffic is to start building your link popularity today. The search engines find that websites with more links pointing to them are more favored and thus receive more traffic. So you want to somehow make other sites link to you to make your link popularity higher, and then you will receive more traffic from sites like Yahoo and Google.

You can start building your link popularity today with a few simple steps. There are paid methods to do this, as well as free methods. Most beginning webmasters will want to start with free methods before moving onto paid methods.

Using the blogosphere to help build your link popularity and backlink profile is a perfect way for a beginner to get started. Because there are so many blogs out there, you’re sure to find somewhere to post to. And because the internet is “on” 24-7, it’s just a matter of getting going.

Go to Google’s blog search and simply enter in a term related to your site. You’ll receive a list of blog posts about the topic you entered. You’ll next visit these sites.

Most blogs have an option to leave a comment after their articles. You will read the article and ensure that it is, in fact, about your topic. Then you will leave a comment on the article.

After hitting the “Comments” button, you’ll usually find 3 sections to fill out. They want your name, your website address and your email. It’s important that the website address field is filled out completely, since that’s how you’ll make that blog link back to you.

The bigger box is for you to actually input the comment you want to add. Never, ever spam the blog you are trying to get a link from because they will probably just delete your comment.

Instead, make your comment relevant to the post that the blog author wrote. Usually people like compliments, so leaving a complimentary comment is always more likely to be published. Try to add value to the post the author already wrote or even respond to comments other people have submitted.

Once your comment is complete, hit the “Submit” button. Some blogs will publish your comment immediately and you will be able to see it, and your link, right away. Some blogs will hold your comment for manual approval by the blog owner; in this case, you may receive a message that your comment is being held in moderation.

Once you’re done with your comment, get back to Google’s Blog Search and find all the other entries on your niche. Then leave comments on ALL of them. The more places you leave comments, the more links you are getting in return, which will increase your own traffic.

This is a simple, free way to being immediately begin building your link popularity today. If you repeat the process weekly, or even daily, you’ll find new blogs listed for you to leave comments on. By repeating this process on a regular schedule you’ll be able to build your backlinks over time.

Make Money from your own Clip Share, You Tube Clone Site   no comments

by Jay Newman

Video sharing websites such as Youtube have been enormously successful and show substantial traffic growth and visitors. The trends are also showing that increasing amounts of people are visiting video sites, rather than Google to research information. This might be the time to launch your own site. Below we detail the information to get you started.

1. Choose a niche for your video site. This will help in gaining some leverage initially in the search engines, and differentiate it from the very popular and well established sites such as YouTube and Google Video. A niche might comic or funny video’s, internet marketing, howto’s and tutorials or a particularly type of cooking.

2.Once you’ve decided on your niche, the next step is a great domain name for your site. This domain should ideally be short and memorable (though many of the short domains have now been taken). There are two approaches, use some of the keywords for niche in your domain, or think of a unique zany one, the latter is what a lot of Web 2.0 sites do.

3. Choose a web host. You should consider a dedicated server as the load with video sharing websites is greater. However shared hosting or even a VPS or virtual private server should be ok to test your site, until you are getting decent traffic.

4. Normal web hosting may not meet your requirements for running video site hosting. For instance you will need to check that web host has installed a software utility called ffmpeg. FFmpeg is popular software that converts video in various formats, on the fly to .flv format (or any other video format).

5. Users will probably upload their video’s in .avi or mp3 format, and your server will convert them on the fly using ffmpeg. Other software that might be required to encode and play your video’s will be ffmpeg-php, libogg

PLR Articles Tweaking Guides   no comments

Posted at 2:36 am in marketing
by Andy Fah

So you bought yourself a packs of PLR articles. If you are going to use them as means of advertisement for your website, services and product, you need to learn editing it. Below are some general rules for you to follow. Emphasis on the language and layout of your PLR articles.

1. Focus on the wordings

Go through the whole length. Scan for any dubious and copious words. Remove redundancies and unnecessary sentences.

2. Grab the attention of the reader

Start articles with a witty joke, a challenging question or an unusual perspective. Do not make readers say “So what?” Inspire them to go on reading. You have at least ten seconds to attract them.

3. Highlight a single message

Remove all the things you do not need because it makes the readers to be confuse. Just put the important details. Do you think that readers can have the message if they read it in seconds?

4. Assist readers in scanning

Divide the message with the aid of a title and a para or two or perhaps a drawing. Insert or modify key point in the material of the articles that will be the initial attraction of your site.

o Titles

PLR articles should have eye-catching titles because consumers focus to it. They read a PLR articles if they find it interesting on the beginning.

o Explanations

Next to titles, the focus is on explanations. Explanations are used not only to describe an image in PLR articles but also to inform.

o Sub-Titles (Tag Lists)

It is a big help because it gives the consumer an idea and magnetize them to read.

5. Improve the message to the essence of each idea

Use sentences (10 to 20 words) and short paragraphs (2 or 3 sentences). This is the right moment to check grammar and to remove any unnecessary structures: modifiers, complex clauses, odd phrases. Use active voice and avoid business jargon, clichs, abstract ideas or ideas that can create confusion.

While you are finishing it, do not forget to have from time to time an overall look to make sure that you are still on the right track of your marketing plan. An article can very easily take a wrong direction. At this point it can be useful to have a team, because the others can tell you what you have forgotten to mention.

1. Write simple PLR articles

If you do not use too many words, the public may read your article. Your design must be clear. Many fonts, colors and images may create confusion even if the text of the article is clear. If you have worked hard to write a high quality article, you need a corresponding design too.

2. You need to focus on media because it place important factor to the consumers.

3. Check twice if you have covered everything important

4. You need to ask help to check the grammars from other people.

Every thing will be easy for you to sell product and service online, if you follow the suggestions. You need to remember that consumers ask first why they need to pay for your product or services before paying for it, so your articles really need to convince them that you sell the best.

Permission Based Email Marketing -The Strategy That Works!   no comments

Posted at 3:10 am in marketing
by Ray Lam

This is fast becoming the most acceptable form of email based marketing. It is an excellent way to expand upon your current base of customers and provides a cost-effective method of communicating with existing clients, partners, and associates. It also allows companies to communicate with people who have explicitly opted in to receive information on specific topics.

The correct way to conduct an email marketing campaign is implied in the name of the strategy: permission based. Without a prospect’s permission, sending an unsolicited email will often be perceived as spam. Once you have a prospect’s permission to communicate with him through email, it is important that you follow the following tips to maximize the effectiveness of your email promotional campaigns.

A professional email tool can save your business time and money, and simultaneously provide a wealth of intelligence about your customer base. Permission based email marketing will get you in the door and help you to establish long-term customers and clientele (which is what growing a successful business depends on). Confirmed opt-in validates that an email list is truly permission-based, and it has become the standard for qualifying a list as a legitimate, non-spam means of business communication.

The reason why opt-in email campaigns or permission based email lists are more profitable is because they send emails to only those email ids, that are somehow interested in learning about the business or have used the product before and are readily waiting to have more news on the topic. Information about the user in these campaigns is collected through the forms that they fill when they are subscribing to the email campaigns. Not only newsletters but the subscribers also subscribe to email advertisements and other marketing and promotional mails that the marketer might send to them.

Research and practice has proved that the output coming from the permission based email list is comparatively much higher than any other direct marketing tool. It has a magnetic effect on the traffic flow. No sooner does the email fire, that the click report, automatically generates a higher hit ratio.

Permission based email marketing is legal, while sending unsolicited commercial email is illegal in a growing number of states across the country. It’s clear that permission based email marketing is becoming a preferred sales communication of consumers.

Though doing so may sound counterproductive to building a large email list, it instill a level of confidence within your subscriber that they are not trapped on your list. They know they can easily terminate the relationship whenever they feel the need. This level of confidence increases their trust in you. Ironically, giving your subscriber a way out is often a critical element in gaining their long-term loyalty.

The content of your newsletter must be relevant to what the person has subscribed. Since this is an anticipated marketing form, you will have to meet certain expectations as to the content and its relevance to their particular needs. This is where other marketing strategies fail. In permission based marketing, it already answers the “what’s in it for me?” quality that most customers look for through the relevance of the things they gain from the effective Internet marketer.

Survey Says   no comments

Do you have a list of e-mail addresses of your customers or prospects? Do you have a list of e-zine subscribers? If you have their permission, send them an e-mail survey to conduct market research. See if customers are satisfied with your products or services, or see if they enjoyed their visit at your web site.

You can learn things you didn’t know about your business by surveying. Maybe your customers buy your main product just to get the free gifts. Your visitors may think it’s to hard to navigate through your web site. You may find out that most of your customers make over $100,000 a year. By knowing this type of important information you can improve your web site, products/services, advertising, and marketing.

3 Popular Types Online Business Surveys

Customer Satisfaction Surveys - what did you like or dislike about our product or service, what can we improve or add, how satisfied are you with our customer service, etc.

Web Site Feedback Surveys - did you find it to easy navigate through our site, did you find the information you wanted, what did you like or dislike about the site, how did you find our site, etc.

Demographic Surveys - what’s your gender, age, income, occupation, marital status, etc.

Sometimes people don’t want to take the time to fill out a survey. To encourage them to fill out the survey offer them a freebie if they fill it out. Some ideas are free ebooks, free advertising, free reports, free internet services or a free e-zine. Hold a free online contest or sweepstakes and ask visitors to fill out a survey before they enter.

If you don’t yet have an e-mail address list you could post your survey on appropriate newsgroups, forums and e-mail discussion lists. You could also upload survey software to your web site or use a free survey service on the internet. To find such services just type in the keyword “survey” in your search engine of choice.
